Calling All NAIG Athletes

Dear Indigenous Athletes,

We invite you to take part in the Team Nova Scotia NAIG (North American Indigenous Games) Program, building teams to represent our province at NAIG in Calgary 2027!

Over the next two years, the program will offer sport-specific development, Mi'kmaw culture and language workshops, mental performance training, and nutrition sessions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other Indigenous athletes in a safe, welcoming, and high-performance environment. Identification camps are starting shortly—you don’t want to miss out!

Athlete eligibility:

• First Nations, Métis, and Inuit athletes residing in Nova Scotia
  

• Proof of Indigenous eligibility through a status card, or completion of a proof of ancestry form tracing Indigenous ancestry up to three generations back (provided at a later date)
